About Vickie
Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and have always held a special place in my heart. I love the unconditional love that they give you and the enjoyment that they bring. I previously worked in the city, but decided to take up a lifelong ambition to work with our furry friends. I have studied an IMDT course in Doggy Daycare and Boarding (see FAQ's for all qualifications), and have since put this into practice with returning weekly pups. I look forward to having your dog on board!

We've never left our 3 year old Staffy before, so it was with much trepidation that we finally took the plunge to have a break. We needn't have worried having found Vickie. She was amazing from the start. Completely professional on all aspects. From all the official requirements: insured, first aid trained, DBS checked etc. to the humane aspects of a genuine love of dogs, understanding their individual needs and the Insta uploads. Vickie not only reassured us that she would follow our bespoke requirements; food, play, walks, sleep etc. but she made us feel that we were perfectly normal pet parents, not over the top at all!! :) Being able to watch the reels Vickie posts on Insta; seeing our fur baby running around having fun, chasing his beloved ball, socialising with other dogs all helped towards dispelling our anxieties. Furthermore, knowing all the 'stuff' dog walkers carry are in Vickie's trusty bag along with water and a first aid kit. We returned to a happy dog, who was his usual character and excited to see us. Thank you Vickie for looking after Bodie so well and for giving us the faith to look forward to more travel opportunities. Can not recommend Vickie Barks highly enough.
Vickie walked our three dogs while we were away and everything went very smoothly. I have complete trust in her professionalism and her love of dogs is immediately apparent.
